Dr. S.S.Mallick is the founder and Director of BULKSOLIDS INNOVATION INDIA Private Limited. He is also Professor and faculty-in-charge of ‘Powder Flow’ Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and in this capacity he has been the Principal Investigator for several design, research and troubleshooting projects for NTPC, OPGC, HPGC, Reliance, Aditya Birla Group etc. Dr. Mallick completed BE in Mechanical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College (Shibpur) in the year 2001. After a brief stay in the manufacturing industry he served Development Consultant Private Limited (DCPL) as a Design Engineer providing consultancy services to thermal power plants. Subsequently he completed Post-Graduation from IIT Delhi and travelled to University of Wollongong Australia with full scholarship to carry out PhD work in the area of pneumatic conveying of bulk solids. Dr. Mallick specializes in pneumatic conveying and flow properties. He is also the Associate Editor of an International Journal: Particulate Science & Technology (Taylor & Francis).
Dr. Kundan Lal is a Co-Founder and Director of BULKSOLIDS INNOVATION INDIA. He is also Assistant Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. He specializes in micro and nano-scale heat transport in particle systems and powder flow simulation.
