Vision
A leading technology and engineering platform for complex powder problems.
Integrating scientific understanding, innovation and industry-oriented engineering to deliver practical technologies and solutions.
About BSII
Established in 2019, BulkSolids Innovation India bridges powder-science research and industrial challenges through testing, modelling, product development and scale-up.
Why we exist
Problems in hoppers, silos, feeders, pneumatic conveying and powder-processing systems are governed by the actual physical and flow behaviour of the material. BSII was created to close the gap between fundamental research and these practical operating challenges.
Our material-centric approach characterizes the powder, explains its behaviour through experimental testing and modelling, and translates the findings into practical, reliable and cost-effective engineering decisions.
Vision
Integrating scientific understanding, innovation and industry-oriented engineering to deliver practical technologies and solutions.
Mission
Generate actionable engineering parameters and translate experimental and modelling insight into improved storage, conveying, segregation, fluidization and processing systems.
Academic & research foundation
BSII is incubated at the Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Park (STEP), Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. Through its association with TIET's Powder Flow Laboratory, the company works within an ecosystem supporting pneumatic conveying, shear testing, wall friction, fluidization, deaeration and segregation studies.
This interface between specialized infrastructure, academic expertise and engineering practice supports research, customized product development and practical industrial problem-solving.
